The Main St. Building is the first phase of a multi-use waterfront development focused on the Alaskan fishing industry featuring marina uses tied to commercial structures on a pile-supported platform adjacent Thomas Basin boat harbor. The recently completed two-story, 726 s.f. Main St. Building houses the Alaska Fish House restaurant at the main level with office space above. The design was influenced by the historic cannery buildings in Ketchikan and features a steeply pitched roof, wood and corrugated metal siding, sliding doors, exterior metal circular stair, and tall windows with divided lites.
